We invite writers of all abilities, genres and interests to join us with a piece of writing you are working on, to workshop, develop and share with fellow writers. Please bring multiple copies (6 - 8) of the work to share around the table for editing purposes if you wish to share your work. These will be returned to you at the end of the workshop.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Booranga is a friendly environment to nurture your creative writing while enjoying the company of like-minded people of all ages and stages of their craft.


Workshop fees:

$10 for 2024 financial members
$15 for non-members 

Usually the Third Saturday of each month

17 February: Regular workshop at Booranga, 2 - 4pm

16 March: Booranga, 2 - 4pm with writer-in-residence Penelope Jackson 

Theme: 'It’s All in The Title'. 

Participants to bring along their latest piece of writing to discuss the title they’ve given it and why.

20/21 April: No Workshop, Writers at the Woolshed event in Wagga this weekend

18 May: Regular workshop, 2 - 4pm, Booranga Writers' Centre.

15 June: Regular workshop, 2 - 4pm, Booranga Writers' Centre.

20 July:  Regular workshop, 2 - 4pm, Booranga Writers' Centre.

17 August: Regular workshop, 2 - 4pm, Booranga Writers' Centre.

21 September: Regular workshop, 2 - 4pm, Booranga Writers' Centre.

26 October:  Regular workshop, 2 - 4pm, Booranga Writers' Centre. (Note: a week later than usual)

16 November:  Regular workshop, 2 - 4pm, Booranga Writers' Centre.
